Web Development – Winner from web development and deployment tools that are helping developers and designers push the boundaries of the web.

"Adobe ColdFusion 8 emerged the winner after fighting a neck to neck battle with ASP.NET and Oracle WebCenter. As a Web development framework, ColdFusion competes against a number of technologies, but its advantage lies in its implementation, comprehensiveness, and the fact that it is many things rolled into one - presentation package, programming language, a means to produce and edit images and PDFs and much more."

ColdFusion training in EMEA

ColdFusion No Comments »

Question I've heard so many times when meeting ColdFusion shops and users : how and where can I get my team trained on ColdFusion in EMEA ?

First and best way is self training.  And for that Adobe recently released its ColdFusion 8 educationnal curriculum for free.  The ColdFusion 8 project-based curriculum is designed to teach experienced web developers how to create dynamic, database-driven web applications using ColdFusion 8.  This curriculum can also be downloaded from the ColdFusionBox.

You can also, if you like reading and if you want to follow the same path as probably 90% of the ColdFusion developers, get Ben Forta's books from your prefered online book reseller.

Another option is to have a trainer to help you get the best out of CF, whether you're a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced user.  The following partners can provide you with customizable training solutions for you and for your collaborators (list is not exhaustive) :

And of course you should consider all the great resources that the community has available for you online.
